"The word 'shame' comes to mind when I look at it. There also seems
to be an ominous symbolism involved with the head in the bucket which
will probably keep me up tonight pondering."

"It remind's me of Caravaggio's Judith
and Holophernes. One thing that I noticed from looking on Don's
website is that when these pieces are shown they are shown right next
to each other and there seems to be this notion that the pieces can be
interchanged in one's mind so that different bodies can go with different
heads. I find that notion interesting.. that each part is a part of a
whole.

How dare you! Make me play down my importance. You are my guru. I'm in a state on your couch pumped up by your silver tongue, But because it's
me. Me. Me. Me. I have the power, I've passed your two part mind test,
the Dr Max Luscher colour one and I'm complete. I know me. Come look
into the mirror, walk through the reflection, see purple, feast on pure
LSD if you must but be like me more. See the hills hail us in the
distance. Capture the Great Spirit of the whispering mountains, now
closed in by a wall of feathered wings. Then dare you peep, like a fly
on a wall into a corner of my mind. See chum. Shock yourself, see my
head resting in a bucket, see me crying too on my knees. Believe I have
the power. I do. Believe I can make you anything. I do. Believe it's not
you pulling the puppet strings but me. Don't awake me with the coward
talk of conscience but rather awake to the sound of your grating soul.
Prepare to bend your knee to my importance.
